Employment Solicitor – Birmingham

We’re working with a well-established, full-service law firm seeking a talented Employment Solicitor to join its national team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a broad mix of sectors including health, local government, financial services, higher education, housing and commercial services.

The Role:

 You’ll manage a varied caseload across contentious and non-contentious matters, including:

  • Employment Tribunal claims, TUPE, restructures & redundancy
  • Policy and contract drafting
  • Senior exits and employee relations advice
  • Equalities obligations and training delivery
  • Transactional due diligence (often in corporate/commercial settings)

You’ll also support internal training and contribute to client relationship management. With over 100 new litigation instructions annually, there’s excellent exposure to high-level employment litigation, including Tribunal, EAT and High Court matters.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law
  • Strong case management skills
  • Confident advising on ER, TUPE, policies and restructures
  • Interest in business development and client care
  • Advocacy experience is a bonus but not essential
