The Energy Administrator combines both customer-facing activities and the use of back-office systems. As a result, the role demands high standards of customer service combined with good levels of numeracy and accuracy when interpreting information provided by metering and billing systems.

Client Details

A well known client in the Woking area in the energy sector.

Description

* Effective day-to-day use of data and IT including telephone and specialist third party systems
* Setting up new commercial customer accounts and ensuring tariff data is correctly uploaded
* Maintaining and updating accurate customer records in compliance with data security standards
* Assisting the Energy Contracts Manager in the production of performance statistics and reports for management reporting and Boards including energy sales, Heat Trust consumer protection standards and service
performance targets
* Support in process analysis and identify key areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes

Profile

* Highly computer literate, capable of using a range of service-based IT systems
* Medium to Advanced Excel Skills

* Capable of working to a consistently high standard in a customer-facing role
* Good communication and inter-personal skills including the ability to clearly explain complex matters to customers
* The ability to act calmly and effectively in potentially confrontational situations
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to prioritise and address competing customer needs
* Willingness to learn and develop when adopting new systems and practices
