Role Overview

Working within our long established and growing Energy Consultancy (part of Savills Earth), we are looking to recruit an energy consultant with a minimum of three years’ experience. We require a self-motivated and enthusiastic and ambitious individual.

The successful candidate must have experience in project consultancy for development and delivery of projects in at least one of the following areas; grid connections, solar, battery storage and EVs.

The role will encompass a diverse range of clients from rural businesses to large industrials, the successful candidate will ideally have experience across the energy and property sector and be able to understand the contract structures that have to be put in place between a landlord and occupier.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of Savills Earth, the newest Division in Savills, aimed at helping clients deliver on their net zero ambitions.

The role is based in the London office with the expectation of being in the office three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing daily interactions with a range of clients (private, clients, developers, operators)
  • Technical and financial modelling skills to assess the technical options and financial viability of projects
  • Commercial and contracting knowledge to advise on the project delivery solution
  • Delivering project outputs in the form of written reports and presentations

Key Skills

  • At least three years’ experience in the energy consulting sector
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively, being articulate both orally and in writing to clients and colleagues
  • A willingness to undertake business development and to grow Savills energy service offering
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to consider commercial aspects of a project
  • Ability to present and communicate information and analysis in a logical and engaging way
