An established and growing Utilities Company based in Hertfordshire are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Energy Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity that will involve generating leads and developing relationships with SMEs and large businesses. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the energy sector or a utility brokerage.

This is an office based role, Mon-Thurs 8.30am-5pm, Fri 9am-5pm.

Key Duties:

  • Generating sales leads by tapping into your network of contacts and utilising social media
  • Meet sales targets and KPIs
  • Identify opportunities to cross and upsell additional products and services to customers and clients
  • Report weekly progress, pipeline and sales reports to the Managing Directors
  • Keep the CRM system updated
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and update the team on your progress and share best practice

Key Skills:

  • Proven sales background and B2B sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to create strong relationships
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
