This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Energy Modeller to join a growing construction consultancy based in Bury. The successful candidate will help provide various independent services across a range of sectors.

Role responsibilities for an Energy Modeller include:

  • Carrying out Thermal comfort analysis and CIBSE TM54 Operational Energy analysis.
  • Undertake Building regulations compliance modelling and NABERS simulations
  • assist on Passive design and low-zero carbon technology studies
  • Aid with Net-zero operational energy studies for new and retrofit projects
  • Use IES-VE software to produce Part O assessments

The ideal Energy Modeller will have:

  • Proficiency in IES-VE software to carry out overheating assessments in accordance with CIBSE TM52 and TM59
  • Previous experience within a Sustainability or Building Physics Engineering role
  • Have achieved or working towards a CIBSE Low Carbon consultancy accreditation
  • An OCDEA or NDEA qualification with experience delivering EPCs being desirable
  • Educational background within a sustainability related discipline
