Salary: £14.07 - £18.53 (dependant upon experience)
Temporary assignment – this role is sickness cover for around 3-6 months

We are currently recruiting for an Engagement Co-ordinator on behalf of our client working in the energy sector.

Our client’s vision is to be the best energy company in serving their 3.9 million homes, whilst delivering a sustainable energy solution. In this role you will support the delivery of an integrated corporate and regional stakeholder engagement programme which embeds the customer voice in the business activities and decision making. The role of Engagement Co-ordinator will involve close liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure an iterative and responsive dialogue to support delivery of our business obligations and ongoing work to decarbonise our electricity network.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
  • Manage delivery of a wide suite of engagement activities including conferences, focus groups, surveys, and roundtables.
  • Work with internal colleagues to ensure the business is actively responding to insight and intelligence from stakeholders.
  • Own the annual engagement planner ensuring a comprehensive programme of engagement opportunities and robust recording of outputs and outcomes.
  • Support the Business Plan Engagement Group programme attending subgroup meetings and providing overall co-ordination for effective outputs.
  • Take a lead on developing and maintaining our digital spaces to share information and support stakeholder learning, as well as promoting our engagement opportunities.
  • Gather all engagement reporting and ensure that it is appropriately processed into our insight reports. Track the recommendations and our response.
  • Support the implementation of the AI tri-angulation tool for reporting.
  • Provide professional advice to colleagues in developing engagement approaches for key projects or bespoke pieces of work.

Key Competencies
  • Established stakeholder management expertise including stakeholder mapping, audience segmentation, stakeholder database management and positive relationship building.
  • Demonstrable experience developing and delivering a range of stakeholder engagement opportunities across both face to face and digital spaces, ideally in large scale complex industries.
  • Excellence in programme management and tactical engagement planning.
  • Digital expertise and creative approaches to ensuring we are maximising opportunities to support stakeholders through digital content.
  • Experience developing content for web publication and active management of web spaces.
  • Experience analysing engagement outputs and converting these into actionable insight.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • A minimum GCSE or equivalent in English Language and Maths. Educated to A level or equivalent in relevant subjects.
  • An understanding and experience of a wide range of engagement activities/channels.
  • Excellent digital skills including use of Microsoft applications including excel and PowerPoint.
  • At least three years’ experience of working in a pressured and dynamic stakeholder relations environment.
  • Experience working closely with professional and executive level staff and external stakeholders.
  • Experience developing and delivering engagement events both big and small.
  • Web publication and web management experience.
  • Digital engagement experience.
  • Experience in project or programme management.
