About the role

As an Engagement Officer, you will manage a caseload of participants, providing tailored 1:1 and group support to help them overcome barriers to employment. You will guide participants in accessing job search resources, volunteering opportunities, employment, training, and self-employment options, whilst helping them address barriers and achieve their aspirations.

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing new referrals, primarily targeting economically inactive individuals. You will complete enrolment paperwork, including development plans and eligibility checks. Additionally, you will attend events and present the delivery model to referral sources to attract new participants. Occasionally, you may need to work outside of normal hours to meet the needs of the role.

Successful engagement officers believe in the potential of every individual they work with.
