We are recruiting for a reputable further education provider based in Derbyshire. Our client is dedicated to providing a high-quality learning environment that enables students to reach their full potential. To continue their excellent standard of education, they are looking to expand their team wand bring on board a permanent Engineering Maintenance trainer.

Job Description:


The successful candidate will be responsible for Engineering maintenance courses (at levels 2 and 3) in mechanical maintenance, engineering maintenance, electrical maintenance or a combination of all. Delivery will be both in the workshop and the classroom.


Responsibilities:


• Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons within Engineering Maintenance.
• Assessing students' understanding through continuous observation and feedback
• Developing and upgrading course content as per the curriculum requirements
• Ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment
• Participating in quality improvement and curriculum development activities.

Requirements:


• Extensive industry engineering experience (with a maintenance focus)
• Previous teaching experience in a similar role (highly desirable).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong commitment to providing the highest standards of teaching
