Overview: Seeking a seasoned Facilities or Operations Engineer for a career-defining opportunity at one of the world's most iconic estates. This pivotal role supports obtaining Engineering Chartership while you ensure the preservation and functionality of the King's Palace.

Role Description: As the Senior Engineering Facilities Manager, take the helm of the Royal Operations team, where you are entrusted with the critical upkeep and modernisation of the estate. Your leadership will oversee both planned and reactive maintenance, streamline tender processes, and spearhead innovations to boost efficiency while honouring the estate's distinguished character.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Operations Engineering Team to excel in maintaining the estate to the highest standards.
  • Strategically manage various maintenance activities to ensure alignment with Royal Household standards.
  • Offer expert guidance and support to a team of skilled engineers, enhancing their performance and development.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure long-term enhancements and operational efficiencies.
  • Champion innovative modernization projects that thoughtfully balance heritage preservation with modern operational demands.
Candidate Profile:
  • Experienced and qualified engineer with a strong background in Facilities or Operations Management.
  • Proven expertise in M&E, statutory compliance, risk management, and extensive project management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a robust passion for developing teams and motivating staff.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities, adept at navigating complex operational challenges.
  • Innovative and customer-oriented, with a track record of implementing effective solutions.
