Engineering Manager
Job Description
  • Lead all activities across the Engineering, Design and Project Management departments.
  • Ensure clear, cross-functional project plans are in place and adhered to for all projects.
  • Lead the team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide monthly reports covering project status, spend-against-estimate, resource utilisation, risks, and changes, as well as cost to completion and cash flow projections.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, and make decisions on conflicting priorities.
  • Manage resourcing, resource requirement forecast and allocation, and capacity planning.
  • Improvement of overall procedures, policies, and standards for the organisation.
  • Champion continuous improvement activities across all teams.
  • Input into p&l, budgeting and forecasting.

Engineering Manager
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Previous experience working within a bespoke/special purchase machinery environment
  • Project management experience (including budget ownership)
  • CAD design experience/knowledge
