This is a pivotal role for an Engineering Planner to join a reputable Engineering and Manufacturing team based in Glasgow. The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring smooth operations and assisting in key projects.

Description

  • Assist with the scheduling of all site planned and unplanned maintenance activities in accordance of the Work Management Procedure to ensure safe and efficient operation of the Plant
  • Ensure maintenance plans and targets are achievable.
  • Work alongside other functions as necessary, assisting with supervision of contractors.
  • Conduct plant inspections and area safety inspections.
  • Provide support to the Engineering staff to ensure that all reporting within the CMMS is effective and followed through to completion promptly.
  • Be a point of contact for the site on the use of CMMS system.
  • Manage the work order backlog in the CMMS and work with operations and engineering to prioritise and maintain an acceptable level of backlog.
  • Utilising the CMMS to its fullest potential to assist the Engineering, EHS and Operational staff.
  • Monitor and organise all outstanding work orders and planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the outstanding work is identified to all teams.

Profile

  • Experience in a planning or scheduling role in a process industry or power plant.
  • Extensive experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management systems.
  • Significant experience in planning and scheduling work.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • A solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Strong communication skills.

Job Offer

The salary for this role will be up to £40,000.00 per year, and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to a great range of benefits
