Role Overview: We are seeking a Project Manager to support our Defence Programmes team. You will manage a variety of projects, ensuring successful execution and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage project teams or work streams.
• Handle budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Manage contract deliverables, subcontracts, and SMEs.
• Chair meetings, take minutes, and write reports.
• Support bid preparation and resource management.
• Ensure quality processes align with ISO standards.
• Build and maintain customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Promote continuous improvement and share knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in project/programme management within engineering.
• Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other infrastructure projects.
• Ability to meet demanding deadlines.
• Experience with UK Government organisations, especially defence, is beneficial.
• Degree in a relevant subject and project management certification (PRINCE2, APM, etc.) ideal.

Core Competencies:

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of Quality Control and ISO environments.
• Good understanding of Safety & Environmental management.
