We’re Hiring: Engineering Stores Operative / Engineering Stores Envoy

Location: Carlisle – Field based (North of England & Scotland)

Salary: £26,000 per annum + £4,000 car allowance

Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Are you passionate about providing outstanding service and keeping operations running smoothly? We are recruiting for an Engineering Stores Envoy to join a dynamic supply chain team, working field-based across the North of England and Scotland.

In this role, you’ll act as a key on-site representative, ensuring stores are well-maintained, stock levels are accurate, and client satisfaction remains your top priority. You'll play a critical part in ensuring product availability, cost efficiency, and a seamless client experience.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professional client relationships.
  • Issue stock products, expedite purchase orders, and manage goods-in processes.
  • Source and manage supplier catalogues and product references.
  • Conduct stock checks, maintain high standards of housekeeping, and ensure system accuracy.
  • Attend site meetings and contribute to continuous improvements within stores operations.
  • Ensure timely processing of deliveries and stock adjustments.


What we’re looking for:
  • A strong background in delivering excellent client service and working in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid organisational and IT skills (SAP experience desirable but not essential).
  • A proactive team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
