Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
- Friday: 07:30 - 12:30

Rate of Pay: £16.00 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Machine Setting Supervisor with a strong engineering background in machining to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 11 machine operators and ensuring the efficient operation of milling machines with Mazak controls.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of 11 machine operators, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.
- Machine Setting: Set up and operate milling machines, specifically those with Mazak controls.
- Tooling Expertise: Resolve daily tooling issues to maintain productivity and quality.
- Operational Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of 11 Mazak control HCN6000/1 machines.
- Communication: Coordinate with the night shift team daily and provide updates on any issues via email.
- Flexibility: Be available to work flexible hours, including staying beyond regular hours to address any machine or shift issues.
- Scrap Monitoring: Monitor and manage scrap levels, taking action as necessary.
- Meetings: Participate in weekly scrap and production meetings to discuss performance and areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive experience in an engineering and machining environment.
- Proven experience in setting and operating milling machines, preferably with Mazak controls.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to tooling and machine operation.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.

- Death in Service: Coverage at 1.5 times the annual salary upon joining.
