Role: Learning Coach - Engineering

Locations: Crewe

Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: £37,500

What the role entails:

We are looking to recruit an Engineering Tutor who will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, tutoring, and assessing students.

As an Engineering Tutor, you will be delivering the Level 3 Apprenticeships on the following qualifications -

  • Level 3 Engineering Technician - Mechanical and Electrical pathways.
  • Level 2 Foundation Competence.
  • Level 3 Development Competence.
  • Level 3 Development Knowledge.

The Tutor will support the apprentices to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours that are required to be demonstrated within the apprenticeship. This will consist of coaching and mentoring sessions, knowledge delivery through teaching sessions that will be run at our classroom and workshops. 

What we need from you:

Essential

  • Hold or work towards Certificate in Education (level 4) or equivalent
  • Relevant occupational sector experience and relevant qualifications (at a level 3 or higher than delivery)
  • Ability to deliver high quality, effective coaching that meets learner needs

Desirable

  • Coaching qualification
  • Knowledge of Government funded training
  • TAQA, AVA, A1 or D32/33 Assessor Qualification
