Hours: 8.30 AM – 3.30 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary English Teacher to join our team in Prestwich, M25. This full-time, long-term position will involve teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students English and you will be preparing them for their upcoming GCSE’s.

Responsibilities for the English Teacher role in Prestwich, M25:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching strategies and resources.

Requirements for the English Teacher role in Prestwich, M25:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities
