English Teacher - Brighton and Hove

At Engage Education, we’re recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work in a successful secondary school in Hove we are currently recruiting for a English Teacher who can teach across KS3/KS4 to start in September. This role is a 0.8 FTE across 4 days per week until December 2024.

About the role:

This is a part-time, long-term role teaching English to Key Stage 3/4 students. The school is located in Hove in a vibrant, modern building, with great transport links and on site parking.

About you:
  • Have the ability to build strong rapport with young adults, and have experience mentoring students

  • Have experience teaching English KS3/4

  • Have a background in education (Does not have to be within a school)

  • Have a proven background in raising pupil progress

  • A real desire to make a positive difference to the students that you work with
