Secondary English Teacher - Thanet

Academics are currently working with a Secondary Academy in Thanet who seek to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic English Teacher with a strong commitment to securing the best possible outcomes for the students for whom we work. This school has 'state of the art' resources with beautiful learning environments. This academy is well regarded in the local area where staff and pupils attend with pride.

The successful candidate:

  • will be a qualified teacher (QTS or similar - PGCE, B.Ed)
  • will have a strong commitment to teaching and learning in English
  • will be an effective classroom practitioner committed to raising standards for all students
  • will be able to teach English at Key Stages 3 and 4 and, if appropriate, in the Sixth Form
  • will be fully committed to enabling all students to achieve well and make good progress
  • the drive and determination to motivate colleagues and students
  • a creative and energetic approach to teaching and management
  • good organisational skills
  • the vision to develop the courses currently offered
  • open to change, new ideas and innovation.
  • Will hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or to be prepared to apply for a new DBS via ourselves (DBS Cost Applies).
