Reed Education North Wales are working with a Secondary school in Flintshire and are currently recruiting for an English Teacher on a full time basis to teach English to key stage 3 and 4. This role are on supply and is due to start September 2024 and is required until December 2024. The successful candidate will have a passion for English and be committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for our students.

Responsibilities:

Teach English to students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced level
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students
Develop and implement a English curriculum that meets the needs of students and the school
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in English education, incorporating new techniques and technologies into teaching practice where appropriate
Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression


Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) (ECT) or equivalent
Relevant degree or diploma in English education or related field
Proven experience teaching English to students of all ages and abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong organisational and time-management skills

Commitment to ongoing professional development
