English Teacher - Crawley - September 2024

Your expertise and enthusiasm is in demand! A 'good' secondary school in Crawley which has produced a number of celebrities including Gareth Southgate, is recruiting an English Teacher for September 2023. It is located a short walk from the nearest train station, which has great links to Horsham, London and Brighton.

Your responsibilities as English Teacher will include:

* Preparing lessons in line with the curriculum for English
* Adaptability to ensure students are challenged depending of their varying needs
* Preparing and explaining homework exercises that will further expand the topic knowledge
* Marking and providing clear and concise feedback on completed work in a timely fashion
* Effective management of classroom behaviour and keeping a positive learning atmosphere

Key requirements for the position include:

* Relevant qualifications - a degree along with relevant teaching qualifications (ie PGCE)
* QTS is desirable - NQT applications are warmly welcomed
* Experience as an English Teacher in the UK is essential
