English Teacher - SEN School in Andover - September Start!

Academics are recruiting on behalf of a residential SEN school in Andover which caters for young people aged 11-19 years with Autism or who have strong emotional / behavioural traits of the Autistic Spectrum, typically high functioning Autism (Asperger Syndrome). All young people in the school will have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP).

They are looking for an engaging and knowledgeable English Teacher to join them in September on a full-time, ongoing contract.

You will be required to plan and deliver English across the school.

Although experience of working in an SEN school would be an advantage, this is not essential. What is needed is an understanding, empathetic and calm teacher who is able to build positive relationships and be able to tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of the students, in line with their individualised learning and care plans.

The main school building is a large country house set in 8 acres of grounds which provide a beautiful and secure setting for outdoor activities. Ideally suited to a driver due to the rural location.

If you are an English Teacher seeking a full-time role for September, please apply.
