English Teacher
Your role as an English teacher's role will involve teaching language skills like reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while fostering critical thinking and creativity. You will guide students in analysing texts, forming opinions, and expressing ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing. By introducing diverse literature, you will promote cultural awareness and empathy, while also preparing students for exams and further education.
Academics have built outstanding relationships across Herefordshire and are seeking an English Teacher for a Permanent contract starting January 2025 for a secondary school in Hemel Hempstead. This would suit an experience or ECT Teacher.
The Role: English Teacher
Contract: Permanent, full time
Pay: M1 to UPS3 depending on experience.
Must Have
- Experience working as an English teacher in the UK
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS
