English Teacher - SEN & Mental Health Needs
Location: Medway
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: MPS

Are you a passionate English Teacher looking for a rewarding role in an inclusive and supportive school environment? We are working with a specialist SEN school to recruit an outstanding English Teacher to support learners aged 11 to 19 with complex needs, including autism and mental health challenges.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated and dynamic team, delivering English to GCSE level across multiple school provisions, including:

  • A main school site for learners with additional needs
  • A specialist provision supporting secondary-aged learners with mental health needs under Section 19 of the Education Act
  • Post-16 education provision
What We're Looking For:
  • A qualified teacher (Primary or Secondary trained) with excellent teaching skills
  • Experience teaching English up to GCSE level
  • A background in supporting students with autism and mental health needs
  • High expectations of learner outcomes and a commitment to safeguarding
  • A team player who is proactive, creative, and adaptable
  • Someone eager for career development and professional growth
