Temporary English Teacher – Walsall

Location: Walsall
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, 8:15 am - 3:30 pm
Contract: Temporary - summer term

Your Role as an English Teacher

Deliver Engaging Lessons – Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 & 4, helping students develop strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
Differentiate Learning – Adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs and ensure all students make progress.
Inspire & Motivate – Foster a love for English and encourage students to reach their full potential.
Maintain Classroom Discipline – Use effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and structured learning environment.
Collaborate & Innovate – Work with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessments, and extracurricular activities to enhance student engagement.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a valid Teacher Reference Number (TRN).
Minimum 6 months teaching experience in Key Stage 3 & GCSE English.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create engaging and effective English lessons.
