Role: Enterprise Risk Manager

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Warwick or Wokingham (Hybrid)

As the Enterprise Risk Manager's Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting risk and control activities across their organisation, providing consultancy services, guidance, and invaluable insights. Working closely with our Executive Management team and Senior Leaders, you will help identify, assess, and monitor risks and controls to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to facilitate risk management processes, including risk identification, assessment, and management.
  • Collaborate with Executives and senior leaders in engaging workshops to develop a comprehensive understanding of risk profiles.
  • Drive the development and documentation of key controls for Principal Risks, ensuring adherence to established standards.
  • Create comprehensive risk landscapes for Principal Risks and ensure periodic and time-sensitive reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support reporting to the Executive Team, Audit, and Risk Committee, and occasionally to the Board.
  • Work closely with Risk Business Partners to deliver impactful risk workshops.
  • Guide and assist managers across the organisation in maintaining accurate and timely risk and control information.
  • Continuously analyse and improve data insights for enhanced risk management capabilities.
  • Develop strong relationships with key contacts within the organisation to foster a culture of risk assurance.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A deep understanding of the energy sector, its structure, regulatory environment, and long-term challenges.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of Risk Management, including tools, processes, and systems.
  • Strong background in business change, effective communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow, enabling efficient risk management practices.
  • Excellent people management and interpersonal skills.
