Entry Level IT Support

Please note that this role is based in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland.

Are you IT savvy with the ability to take calls and offer basic IT Support? Are you currently studying an IT discipline and seeking some practical IT experience? Are you available from mid-July through until at least Oct 2024? If so, we have a great opportunity for you to work for our client on a temporary basis initially.

You will have previous experience within a similar role or have a passion for IT/computer systems, eg you have built / rebuilt computers or have a real interest in or understanding of IT and technical jargon.

Hours of work - 7.5 hours per day on a 2-week rotation Monday to Friday (covering 8am to 4pm, 8:30am to 4:30pm and 9am to 5pm) - you must be able to cover any of these shifts but you are able to swap with other members of staff if pre-agreed.

The role involves answering calls relating to 1st line technical issues such as basic trouble shooting, password resets, unlocking accounts, internet issues etc. The calls will cover fault resolution, handling escalations and providing support when required. You may be making some outbound calls in order to resolve issues
