Purpose of the Role

At Chantry Place we aim to be East Anglia’s premier shopping destination creating a environment that surpasses the aspirations of our visitors.

Working in a friendly team, you will be responsible for all cleaning duties which includes mopping, dusting, vacuuming and toilet cleaning. You will be engaging with our colleagues, customers, retailers and contractors to help deliver exceptional service.

Whilst it would be ideal for you to have previous experience within a commercial cleaning role, we will provide full and ongoing training to all our staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • To clean our mall floors, toilets, lifts and outside area, ensuring that safety and cleanliness is of the highest standard providing the best possible customer experience.
  • Help support with the collecting and sorting waste into appropriate waste streams.
  • Have pride in your own appearance and the centre. You must be aware of your own responsibilities and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential:

  • Dedicated enthusiastic team player with a strong eye for detail

Desirable:

  • Cleaning related qualifications (BICs)
  • Knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety procedures

Working Hours - 40 hours per week, 5 shifts on 3 shifts off 5am-2pm

Salary - £24,960
