EPOS Analyst - (EPOS, POS, Point of Sale, Windows, Helpdesk, Support, Hardware, Networking, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, TCI/IP) - Permanent - High Wycombe

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for an EPOS Analyst on a permanent basis for our global business based in High Wycombe.

This role involves working and supporting EPOS/POS systems on a daily basis

Location: High Wycombe

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum

Skills/Requirements for the EPOS Analyst:

  • Previous experience of working and supporting EPOS/POS systems is vital
  • Any previous service desk or remote support
  • Strong Windows desktop support, ideally Windows 10 and/or 11
  • Good network troubleshooting around DNS, DHCP
  • LAN/WAN support experience

Start date is ASAP

The EPOS Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support to staff via phone or email as first point of contact while following pre existing SLA’s
  • Escalating complex technical/digital issues to senior team members as in when required
  • Escalating hardware related issues to vendors and 3rd party suppliers
  • Maintaining accurate and complete record of all cases/incidents reported in our call logging system Service NOW
  • Escalating EPOS/POS software issues to a specialised internal team
  • Keeping up to date with information on new promotions, technology changes, ongoing major incidents, and software updates.
  • Escalating trending issues reported to the technical support desk during calls to senior team members and Senior technical lead.
