Equity Research Analyst - Oil and Gas - energy professional/ petroleum engineer/ geologist wanted

A major broker is now looking to add an equity research analyst to their oil and gas equity research team.

The focus of the role will be to write pieces of equity research on companies and then market your recommendations to your clients who will be asset managers and hedge funds. As part of this you will work on:

-commercial and financial analysis of oil and gas companies

-write pieces of thought provoking research on oil and gas companies

-prepare and present to clients -monitor sector news flow, listen to company results calls, update clients in what is going on in financial markets

They are interested in meeting oil and gas professionals. You could well be a geologist or petroleum engineer with a major oil and company , on their graduate scheme or working as an oil and gas analyst with a firm like Wood Mackenzie.

It's quite a junior role in the team.

The position is a fantastic opportunity to move from the oil and gas industry into investment banking and financial markets.

You don't need previous banking experience.
