A life science business based in the prestigious Oxford Science Park is looking for an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Risk Associate to support and help create policies and guidelines related to sustainability programs affecting the environment, health, and safety of the organisation and their suppliers.

ESG Risk Associate Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the ESG & Sustainability strategy, as well as the Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
  • Support and coordinate operational processes, procedures, and project delivery for the ESG & Sustainability plan
  • Work collaboratively with central teams to ensure compliance with environmental consents and permits
  • Liaise with the waste management company and other suppliers to identify ways to reduce all types of waste and increase recycling across the contract
Experience Required:
  • A keen interest in ESG & sustainability; experience within supply chain services is desirable but not essential
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills to enable collaboration between work streams, departments, and key partners to maximize project value
  • Basic knowledge of ESG and Sustainability frameworks and accreditations is a plus
