ESOL Lecturer
  • Job Type: Full time/Part time
  • Location: North West London
  • Salary: paying up to £44,000 pro rata

We are seeking an experienced and passionate ESOL Lecturer to join our educational team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality education to learners from diverse backgrounds, focusing on English language skills, IT, and numeracy across a range of levels.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Plan and deliver engaging ESOL lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of learners.
  • Teach a variety of ESOL courses, from Pre-Entry to Level 2, including Functional Skills and Ascentis qualifications.
  • Integrate IT and numeracy skills into the ESOL curriculum to enhance learners’ comprehensive abilities.
  • Monitor and support learners’ progress and development, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the enhancement of teaching and learning experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A relevant teaching qualification, such as PGCE, CertTESOL, or CELTA.
  • Proven experience in teaching ESOL courses at various levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse student body.
  • A passion for supporting and empowering learners from diverse backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with incorporating IT and numeracy into ESOL teaching, enhancing the learning experience.
