Estimating Administrator

Full Time, 8-5pm

Estimating experience is preferred however not essential. We will look at someone with construction administrator experience.

Fawkes & Reece are currently working with a large construction company in the recruiting of an Estimating Administrator to be based in their office in Surbiton.

You will report to the Estimating Director and will be working with a team of 6 consisting of Estimators .This role involves taking ownership and managing the estimating process for each tender, and supporting the preconstruction process.

Duties:

  • Downloading and checking in new tender documents (printing as required)
  • DLM of tender documents throughout the entire tender period
  • Compilation of interactive tender and interview documents
  • Sitting with the team to act as an extra pair of hands on busy submission mornings / interview days
  • Chasing subcontractor quotations
  • Gluing interviews and tender submission document
  • To assist the general office administration function as required
  • Support to the Document Controller; uploading drawings, updating Deltek PIM, holiday cover for general role (training will be given)

Skills:

  • Microsoft office packages | advanced Excel & Word
  • Must be able to manage time efficiently and to create own workload
  • Excellent English | written
  • Interest in Estimating
