Estimator Construction - Permanent - Taunton - £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an Estimator for our fabrication client in Taunton.

Hours of work

You will work in the Office based in Taunton and will need to attend site visits when required.

Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm Fridays 8.00am to 4.00pm

The role

You will be working in the sales and estimating team. Pricing jobs and help with negotiating bids and tenders for a variety of architectural metalwork projects. Working with the design department to produce the quotes.

You must have previous estimating experience within the fabrication or construction industry.

Duties

• Estimating costs of the entire project.
• Reading architects and engineers drawings.
• Material take off's and tender documents.
• Negotiating with suppliers and obtaining quotes.
• Drafting and preparing quotes and all documents within deadlines set.
• Liaising with clients to discuss tender requirements.
• Follow up quotes.
