We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced nuclear estimator for an exciting opportunity located in the heart of Bridgwater, Somerset. Our client operates within the engineering sector on various projects across different industries.

Rate & Contract Type

This position is offered at an hourly rate through contract engagement (PAYE)

Rotation: 10/4
Location: Hinkley Point C Power Station (Somerset)
Accommodation allowance of £1140 per month.
Mileage paid on first and last day of trip
Paid Holiday - 25 days plus Bank Hols
8% Pension (matched)

Job Description:

As a highly competent estimator with experience working on NEC3 contracts, you will be responsible for analyzing project requirements to provide accurate cost estimates that enable our client's business success. You'll work collaboratively with other professionals such as engineers and architects while ensuring timely delivery of your responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
- Analyze project documentation such as designs, specifications, proposals etc.
- Prepare cost estimates using industry standard software
- Utilize historical data to develop models that can accurately predict future costs
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders during the estimation process
- Conducting site visits along with relevant parties (such as contractors) when required;
- Evaluating subcontractor quotes against original job specs submitted by prime contractor(s);
