The successful candidate will play a key role within the commercial team, producing accurate quotations and completing technical submissions.


They will have experience of building services or mechanical / electrical services. Experience within the fire suppression industry experience would be extremely advantageous, although not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing estimates for all Passive Fire solutions including, but not limited to, surveys, doors/remedials, fire stopping and dampers.
  • Producing accurate quotations for clients.
  • Ability to read and interpret site drawings/reports accurately.
  • Keep up to date with knowledge of Passive Fire and Fire Stopping legislation.
  • Preparation of bills of materials and quotations from client specifications
  • Ability to interpret client’s requirements accurately.
  • Build successful working relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Prioritisation of workload to ensure client’s deadlines are met.

Desired Experience and Attributes

  • Previous experience ideally within a building services, mechanical or electrical services or a fire suppression related discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to visualise schemes and understand components.
  • Diligent, Self-disciplined and well organised.
  • Ability to see commercial advantages when producing quotations.
  • A desire and expectation to work hard.
  • Problem solving and accurate time management.
  • Produce clear solutions to client challenges.
  • Proactive, confident and able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team.
