Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial glazing projects.
  • Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive bids.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver cost-effective solutions.
  • Source and obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Evaluate and assess potential risks and provide recommendations for cost control.
  • Maintain and update a database of cost information and pricing.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably within the commercial glazing or construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Office, estimating software).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
