Salary £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Our clients have been supplying, manufacturing and installing bespoke shading solutions to commercial markets for over 25 years.

This an opportunity to join a well-established company with excellent reputation which has ambitious plans for development over the coming years.

The Role

  • To support the Projects Sales Team with providing accurate and comprehensive cost calculations from information provided.
  • To assist with developing the systems and processes in place in order to improve efficiency and accuracy of the quotations generated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring excellent communication with the internal projects team including sales, project managers and production.
  • Evaluating and interpreting the information supplied in order to identify the most appropriate solution to be costed.
  • Liaising with the customer where necessary to clarify where there is missing information or any ambiguity.
  • Working to deadlines set by the Customer and/or Projects Sales Managers to return estimates and tenders within the specified time scale.
  • Updating the CRM records in order for all to have a clear and accurate overview of the quotation pipeline and priorities.
  • Understanding and interpreting accurately, specifications, bill of quantities, and architects drawings in order to provide quotations.
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations within time constraints.
  • Liaising with suppliers to obtain costs where required as part of the project.
  • Working with suppliers and the supply chain to ensure the most cost effective and profitable solution is proposed in order to provide the best possible chance of securing the project.
  • Recording sales and order information accurately on internal ERP/CRM software.
  • Assisting with the development of the new ERP/CRM by providing input on the system during use and helping to shape the functionality requirements to improve the efficiency and accuracy with which quotes are calculated.
  • Ensuring all relevant administration systems are accurate and updated appropriately in accordance with systems & procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Experienced with:

  • MS Excel manipulating data using formulas and Tools.
