Fawkes & Reece are proud to be working with a family run well established construction company with a £20m turnover and growing. My clients have developed the company in line with modern technology and electronic media, whilst maintaining the philosophy which so many have grown to trust and respect for over 50 years based in South Yorkshire.

As Estimator you will be working alongside my clients extensive client base which includes Public and Private Sector clients, including several Framework Contracts carrying out contracts valued from £300k to £4m.

Responsibilities for an Estimator
  • Supporting and assisting the wider team with queries on projects.
  • Carrying out the tender process to preparing tender submissions.
  • Taking off quantities and preparing subcontractor and supplier enquiries.
  • Pricing, including building up unit rates from first principles.
Requirements for an Estimator
  • At least 5 years' experience working as an Estimator
  • Experience of the Conquest estimating package or similar would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Previous experience ideally needs to include working for companies of a similar size and carrying out similar work, although we would consider a candidate who has specialised in a specific trade, e.g Drylining, Groundworks, Shop Fitting etc.
What we offer for an Estimator
  • £35,000 - £45,000
  • 21 days annual leave + bank holidays.
