Estimator
This role involves providing detailed cost estimation for various engineering and manufacturing projects. The Estimator will work closely with the team to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

Description
- Review Project Requirements: Thoroughly understand project specifications, plans, and drawing.
- Material Costs: Determine the cost of raw materials (plastics, wood, hardware, etc.).
- Negotiate Prices: Negotiate with suppliers to get the best prices and terms.
- Cost Breakdown: Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for each component of the project.
- Budget Preparation: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company profitability goals.
- Prepare Proposals: Develop comprehensive proposals and bids, detailing the scope of work, pricing, and timelines.
- Profit Margins: Ensure profit margins are maintained while staying competitive in the market.
- Identify Risks: Identify potential risks that could impact costs, such as market fluctuations or supply chain issues.
- Internal Coordination: Work closely with engineering, design, procurement, and production teams to gather accurate data.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to clarify requirements and present cost estimates.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of all estimates, quotes, and related correspondence.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve the estimation process for accuracy and efficiency.
Profile
A successful Estimator should have:

A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Experience in cost estimation within the industrial/manufacturing sector.

Proficiency in using estimation and project management software.

Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
