OA are currently working with a growing organisation within the manufacturing industry and are currently looking to recruit a Estimator to support in calculating costings and pricings, liaising with customers on any necessary updates and understanding customer drawings.

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30 (40-hour week)
• £30,000 - £35,000
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
• Free parking
• Excellent growth!

Estimator – Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate costings and prices for customers.
• Read engineering drawings from customers and understanding the dimensions.
• Liaising with customers directly to discuss any changes or queries to original drawings and updating the sales team.
• Sourcing new suppliers alongside the purchasing team and negotiating pricing material.
• Face to face meetings with customers and suppliers as and when needed.

Estimator – Key Skills and Experience:

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication would be desirable.
• Experience in reading drawings (either from engineering or manufacturing industry)
• Ability to understand dimensions.
• Strong numerical skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
