Our client is a well-established construction and maintenance company with a base in Alderley Edge, known for delivering high-quality projects and exceptional service. They are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team and play a crucial role in supporting their continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and interpret documents such as purchase orders, invoices, and other project-related documentation.
  • Understand pricing schedules and prepare detailed cost estimates for construction and maintenance projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Create and submit quotes and tenders in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage project costs to ensure alignment with budgets and client expectations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or maintenance sector.
  • Strong understanding of pricing schedules, project documentation, and cost estimation.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, estimating software).
