Swift Specialist Recruitment are currently seeking an EU Road Freight BDM for one of our most prestigious clients based in St Helens.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting new clients in the road EU freight industry.
  • Opportunity Identification: Utilise your industry knowledge and network to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including freight forwarders, logistics providers, and clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer solutions and exceed client expectations.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to proactively identify growth opportunities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in business development within the road EU freight industry.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of road freight operations, including EU regulations and trade routes.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
