EUC / VDI Engineer

The Role

As a EUC / VDI Solutions Engineer, you will be a key advocate for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions using VMware Horizon or XenDesktop. Work in a rounded role, deploying and managing customer environments. The EUC / VDI Engineer will help deliver Virtualisation solutions, working closely with projects teams to ensure smooth delivery of service

  • EUC / VDI Engineer Overview:
  • VDI support - helping customer trouble shoot VMware Horizon or XenDesktop solutions for their organization
  • Developing and deploying new services for customers
  • Managing broader EUC environment, including AD, Azure and related applications
  • Staying updated with the latest technologies in the market
  • Collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders

The Person

Skills / Experience required for the EUC / VDI Engineer:

  • Ideally certified in VMware Horizon or CitrixXenDesktop, but not essential
  • High-level understanding of VDI and next-gen data center products
  • 3+ years experience in supporting enterprise class EUC solutions
  • Ability to interface effectively with both non technical and technical stakeholders
  • Passion for and appreciation of Public Cloud Services
