We are looking for European / French Payroll Specialist for a global technology leader.

The role

The candidate will be one of a team of four members, 3 based in Cambridge. The EMEA payroll team manages payroll for approximately 8000 employees in 19 European countries. The role is responsible for managing outsourced payroll, varying in size and complexity, with adherence to policy, compliance, and legislation. It requires strong communication skills to liaison with payroll providers, internal business partners, revenue authorities, and other third parties.

Principal Accountabilities

- Collaborate with business partners to prepare payroll input for timely processing
- Review and approve provider prepared payroll against the approved payroll inputs
- Maintain payroll system and records
- Prepare and reconcile month end payroll journals/accounting
- Support dynamic customer service
- Review processes to improve and enhance quality
- Support payroll audits and reporting compliance
- Protect employee personal data

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

- Must have European payroll experience
- Bookkeeping, journal preparation and reconciliation experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excel spreadsheet skills
- Proficient with applications and systems

Salary

Salary 40K to 50K pending on experience + 25% bonus + stock options
