European road freight co-ordinator - Fashion logistics

NEW JUST IN! We are recruiting for our client based near Heathrow to work within their UK / European road freight department and to work on one of their fashion accounts.

There are 2 shifts available:

Monday - Friday 7am 0 15.30 / Monday to Friday 10.00am - 20.00pm - Weekends on rota - PAID AT OVERTIME.

The ideal candidate will have a background / experience in logistics / freight and a knowledge of road freight and EU countries. You will be updating the customer and providing a high level of customer service at all times. You should have the ability to build and maintain relationships with major accounts for the business and look after them operationally.

Duties include:

- Planning of UK / EU road freight

- Monitoring shipments and ensuring delivery is kept to correct time-scales

- Resolving any issues quickly and professionally

- Liaising with warehouse team

- Invoicing & billing the customer correctly

- Completing customs dicuments & entries for road freight.
