This role is for an ambitious and strategic European Sales Director in the Chemical industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the company's sales strategy and growth across Europe.

Description

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans across Europe across multiple markets and locations.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team across accounts, technical service and business development.
  • Foster long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Lead a value service proposition to customers.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends and competitors.
  • Drive the achievement of sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Present sales reports and realistic forecasts to the leadership team.
  • Identify new business opportunities to expand the company's market share.

Profile

A successful European Sales Director should have:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales role in related sector
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to drive sales growth.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering would be useful.
  • Proficiency in English and one or more European languages.
