Evening driver and warehouse coordinator
- To manage the pick-up triggers from supermarkets in the evenings between 6pm and 8pm;
- To be present in the evenings between 7pm and 10pm at WFH to ensure all food delivered is stored correctly upon arrival;
- To manage the Better Impact volunteer driver system to ensure store coverage by drivers and make sure maximises the number of drivers available for pick-ups and drop-offs to the Hub;
- To act as an ad hoc evening driver when emergency cover is required;
- To induct new drivers and arrange for them to accompany experienced drivers to familiarise them with individual stores and drop-offs at the Hub;
- To ensure that all drivers follow guidance on food handling, food safety and collection protocols in place from time to time;
- To ensure expense forms for mileage claims from volunteers/staff are available and submitted on a timely basis;
- To ensure that all records related to volunteer driver and event activities are properly captured using Better Impact, e-mail and WhatsApp;
Take responsibility for keeping the service deck area clean and tidy during evening deliveries.
