Evening Paralegal

Award-winning US law firm has a brilliant opportunity for a well-educated Commercial Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join the London office as their Evening Paralegal to ideally work the hours 4pm to midnight with taxi home included.

  • Salary to £34,500 with possible flexibility

  • 3 days in the office / 2 days remote

Evening Paralegal applicants should be able to commit to working the evening hours for a minimum 12 months, previous experience of reviewing and styling briefs and expert report plus checking and organising exhibits being a great advantage.

Evening Paralegal duties will include:

  • Assisting day-to-day aspects of the cases through the implementation of procedures for maintaining and indexing materials/documents received from clients
  • Review and style briefs, organise exhibits and review expert reports
  • Conducting cite-checking and proofreading
  • Typing of letters, memoranda, monthly reports, file notes, creating and amending legal documents to a standard format
  • Using precedents, preparation of cross-examination bundles
  • Any other duty which could arise within the litigation process.

Evening Paralegal candidates should be law degree educated (or GDL/LPC) and must have fantastic communication and organisational skills, with previous Commercial Litigation or Arbitration paralegal experience where you have worked directly with Partners/Associates beneficial, and with this role being stand alone having the confidence and competence to work under your own stead.

This firm is very well known for the calibre of their paralegal hires and the quality of work available, standard hours 4pm to midnight with lots of available overtime with the role being hybrid, 3 days in the office and two days working remotely.
