Are you an experienced Event Manager looking for an incredible opportunity in a world-class venue? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Manager to join our clients' incredible Event Management team. As a pivotal member of the team, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and delivering exceptional events across a wide range of industries. Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Delivery
  • Lead all aspects of event planning, coordination, and execution, including scheduling, logistics, and documentation.
  • Conduct meetings and consultations with clients to understand their event requirements and translate those into actionable plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as commercial, food & beverage, cleaning, health & safety, and others to ensure flawless event delivery.
  • Oversee event setup, live periods, and breakdown, ensuring all equipment is in place and any required remedial measures are addressed.
  • Provide exceptional client service by resolving any issues or concerns that arise before, during or after events.
  • Maintain accurate event records, including attendance figures, event costs, and client feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures and health & safety legislation.
  • Produce comprehensive event documentation and ensure smooth communication across departments.
Client Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, working alongside their commercial Account Manager to exceed client expectations.
  • Maintain clear communication on timelines, priorities, and event requirements, ensuring alignment between internal teams and clients.
  • Provide constructive feedback to service providers to elevate the quality of service.
  • Share knowledge and collaborate with other event managers to continuously improve service delivery.
Financial Management
  • Manage event costs, forecasting, and PO creation to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maximise opportunities for revenue to positively impact financial performance.
  • Oversee financial closure of events, including reconciling service orders and assisting the finance team with invoicing.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Support and collaborate with team members on events, fostering growth and development opportunities.
  • Participate in department meetings, proactively contributing ideas to improve service delivery.
  • Assist with other department initiatives or venue projects as required.
Reporting
  • Create key event documentation, including pre- and post-show reports, debriefs, and financial reports.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and contractors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and event details while remaining proactive.
  • Quick-thinking and adaptable, with a focus on resolving issues before they arise.
  • Ensure high standards from event setup to execution.
  • Lead and motivate staff, contractors, and partners throughout the event cycle.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Understand and comply with venue, client, and legal regulations.
  • Ability to remain composed and make effective decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including being on-site during key event periods.
Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in event planning and management within a large-scale venue/events/conference/exhibition setting.
  • Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with food & beverage operations, audiovisual equipment, and event production is a plus.
