Summary

You’ll assist in the delivery and development of a programme of activities and events at Belton Estate over the summer. By doing so, you’ll help to create an enjoyable experience for everyone that visits and help them understand more about our place.

Salary: £11.64 per hour/£18,158.40 per annum

Contract duration: Proposed start date, early to mid July, until 8th September 2024

Hours/working pattern: 30 hours per week covering Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday

Internally you'll be known as Programming Assistant.

What it's like to work here

Reporting to the Senior Programming and Partnerships Officer you'll be joining our Visitor Operations and Experience team of 25 staff plus around 70-80 volunteers)

You’ll work in our Visitor Operations and Experience team at Belton to deliver our Summer of Play offer. Belton is one of the busiest properties in the National Trust, welcoming over 400,000 visitors per year.

What you'll be doing

Working with the team you'll create and deliver events and activities that bring our place to life for our visitors this summer. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You’ll help link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. You’ll deliver high standards of presentation on site and ensure all our communications with our visitors around the property is clear and consistent.
